Mariah bought Marilyn Monroe’s baby white grand piano for a whopping $662,500 in 1999. This isn’t entirely surprising, considering that Monroe is Carey’s favorite actress.

Mariah starred in the 2001 movie Glitter. She received a Razzie award for “Worst Actress” for her performance in the movie.
8. Her Legs Were Insured for $1 Billion
In 2006, Mariah insured her legs for $1 billion. This was after she became Gillette Venus’s first “Celebrity Legs of a Goddess” ambassador.
